การประชุม INTERCOLOR ครั้งล่าสุดสำหรับการคาดการณ์แนวคิดฤดูกาล Spring/Summer 2014 ได้จัดไปเมื่อต้นเดือนมิถุนายน 2555 ที่เมือง Guimaraes ประเทศโปรตุเกส โดยมีการประชุมคู่ขนานที่รวบรวมผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านสี วัสดุ และการออกแบบมารวมตัวกันในงาน ICOC – INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COLOR (CONFERÊNCIA DA COR)

INTERCOLOR for Spring/Summer 2014

From 6th to 9th of June 2012 in Guimarães (Portugal), the European Capital of Culture, took place the Intercolor Congress organized by Citeve. The representatives from 14 Countries were present at the congress, colour experts working on ideas, sensations and projects for the Spring Summer 2014. The chromatic atmosphere that came out after the collective work look toward Spring Summer 2014  as a season of great “Transformation”, opposites will play a synergy: real and neo-real, digital and analogical, material and immaterial, nature and culture. INTERCOLOR - International Commission for Colour

Intercolor is a platform for colour research and development, consisting of a interdisciplinary group of colour expert. These experts not only each represent a national association but also work for major global players in the textile, fashion and consumer good industry. We understand colour to be a driving force of design, lifestyle and also one of the majour reasons for product purchase. The Intercolor Committee currently consists of 14 European and Asian member countries. (China, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey). Legally, Intercolor is a non-profit organization, financed by annual member fees.

Intercolor’s Congress is held twice a year, each time in a different inviting country.
Intercolor’s members present their seasonal as well as overall views on colour and the general development in lifestyle as a basis for trend development.
At the end of a 2 day workshop-meeting, the members agree on the “Intercolor Color Card”.

24 months ahead of the season in question, we are provided with an international view on colour which works as a source of further development and helps make decisions for different industry fields. (Source : INTERCOLOR)
